Ječná Nightshift

Ječná Nightshift is a short semi-serious single-player horror game, where you assume the role of a schoolkeeper at Ječná, a fictional mid school in Prague. Each night shift brings new mechanics, places to explore and secrets to reveal. Can you survive all the nights and discover secrets of the school?

Disclaimer: This game is primarily intended for students (or former students of an unnamed school) who are "in the know" and will recognize the inside jokes and referneces.  Due to its tiny target audience, Ječná Nightshift is only localized in Czech.

Gameplay

As a schoolkeeper, your role is to finish the various story tasks you are assigned each night. The nights get progressively more difficult as new gameplay mechanics get added. Use your flashlight to assist you in dark rooms and keep an eye out on the power system to prevent blackouts. Rest assured that working at Ječná is completely safe and the working environment is very friendly.

Side-Content

Side-content is the main focus of the game. There are plenty of secret areas, lore and mechanics to discover. There is also an achievment system to help you keep track of things you can do or find. However, not all secrets are mentioned in the achievments.

Currently the game features 3 fully playable nights (out of the 5 nights planned) with plenty of additional content to discover and achievments.

Development is a difficult process, and I no longer can afford to finance this project alone. If you wish to see more updates and nights come, consider donating or supporting this game on Patreon! Reaching 400€ should be enough to cover development costs for 4th and 5th night.
(PS: The "Pavoučárna Update" will come regardless of funding sometime in the future)
